Application
Range:
For
inorganic pigment, filler and azo toner surface treatment.
Usage:
For
inorganic pigment or filler surface treatment, heating 100phr CH-4
to 70¡æ
, then drop it slowly into 900phr 40-42¡æ
water to make 1000phr emulsion. Add the emulsion to the pigment
before filtration or before other surface treatment. As for azo
toner surface treatment, the emulsion may also be added before or
during the coupling reaction.
Dosage:
1-5%
based on the dry weight of the pigment or the filler.
Benefits
:
Hydrophobic
surface of the pigment to facilitate filtration.
Less
water in the press-cake, easy to dry.
Finer
particle size, looser aggregation, easy to disperse.
Better
heat-resistance of azo toner compared with their counterpart treated
with rosin.
Lower
oil-absorption value, better tinctorial effect.
